Terrestrial laser scanning is a rapid, highly accurate and efficient method of terrestrial 3D surveying. The field of applications is wide and involves:
- Topography & Mining
- Architecture & Facade Measurement
- As-Built Surveying
- Archeology & Cultural Heritage Documentation
- Monitoring & Civil Engineering
- City Modeling
All Riegl scanners are rugged and fully portable instruments, tested under severe conditions, for a reliable performance even under high demanding environmental conditions.
Riegl offers a complete product line in terrestrial laser scanning. Our instruments can be utilized in many applications such as topography and mining to provide excellent accuracy, using the VZ-400a, LMS-Z420i and the LMS-Z620, ultra high performance instruments with a maximum range of up to 1000m or 2000m, respectively.
The line also includes the Long-Range Profile Measuring System LPM-321, which is ideally suited for site monitoring, almost every application can be covered by one of Riegl's 3D terrestrial lasers.
The new RIEGL VZ-400 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner provides high speed, non-contact data acquisition using a narrow infrared laser beam and a fast scanning mechanism.
